Volunteer With the Riverton Tenants Association
The Riverton Tenants Association (RTA) is an all-volunteer organization. Everything we accomplish—from advocating for better building conditions to protecting the future of Riverton Square—happens because residents step forward to help their neighbors.
We do not have paid staff. Our strength comes from tenants who care about their community and are willing to contribute their time, ideas, and energy.
Volunteers are essential to keeping Riverton informed, organized, and heard. RTA volunteers support our work by:
-
Connecting with neighbors and sharing important updates across buildings
-
Distributing flyers and information to residents
-
Assisting with tenant meetings and community forums
-
Supporting advocacy efforts with city and state officials
-
Helping organize community events, rallies, and outreach efforts
-
Reporting building conditions and helping document issues affecting residents
Whether you can volunteer occasionally or take on a larger role, every contribution helps strengthen our collective voice and improves our ability to advocate for Riverton tenants.
Even a small amount of time can make a meaningful difference.
Become a Building Leader
Building Leaders are a vital part of the RTA’s outreach across Riverton Square. They help ensure that each building stays informed, connected, and represented.
Building Leaders help by:
-
Sharing important updates from the RTA with neighbors
-
Bringing tenant concerns and building issues to the Association
-
Supporting outreach and organizing within their building
-
Helping strengthen communication between tenants and the RTA
If you are interested in becoming a Building Leader, please indicate this in the comments section when signing up to volunteer.
Together, we can protect and strengthen Riverton Square—ensuring it remains a safe, affordable, and vibrant community for generations of residents.
