Governance at the Riverton Tenants Association

The Riverton Tenants Association (RTA) is committed to transparent, responsible, and community-driven governance. Our work is guided by the Association’s Bylaws, Code of Conduct, and official meeting records, which together establish the framework for how the RTA operates and represents Riverton residents.

The RTA Bylaws define the structure of the Association, including the responsibilities of the Executive Board, the rights of members, and the procedures for meetings, elections, and decision-making. The Executive Board serves as the governing body of the Association and has the authority to manage its affairs in order to fulfill the RTA’s mission of advocating for Riverton residents and maintaining the community as an affordable and habitable place to live.

The RTA Code of Conduct sets standards of ethical behavior and professionalism for officers, volunteers, and anyone acting on behalf of the Association. It emphasizes accountability, respect, and responsible decision-making so that the RTA can effectively represent the interests of all tenants.

To ensure transparency and keep residents informed, the Association also publishes meeting minutes and governance documents, providing a record of discussions, actions, and decisions made by the Executive Board.

Together, these documents help ensure that the Riverton Tenants Association operates with integrity, accountability, and the full participation of the Riverton community.
